Hi Katy... thanks for dropping by!

I do agree with you, trance is the best music to run to, but since coming back from my stress fracture I've actually stopped listening to my iPod when running now. The first couple of runs without music were pretty boring, but now I'm used to it I don't think I could return to music. I now focus so much more on my breathing, form and generally how I'm feeling.

Hope to see some comments from you again soon!

Hi there,

Just wanted to say how much I empathise with you about being addicted to running! I'm 22 and have been addicted to running for 5 years - can be torturous sometimes!!!

Forcing yourself into an early run before work is also something us addictive runners do if going out in the evening - nice to see I'm not alone!

There's sometimes nothing I'd like better than to just not go running for a night but I know if I don't my running demons will be grating on me the next day!

Also, do you get annoyed when you see groups of runners or amateur runners i.e going with their friends thinking it's all a bit of fun, a bit of a laugh? When there are people like us slogging it out there every night come rain, wind, sun or snow!

Was thinking of starting a running blog myself and have created a username as 'therunningwall' on some journal somewhere online - must start it soon

Thanks! PS What's your top running track? I think trance music is best to run to!
